Community Work
We have undertaken a range of community projects and more recently provided outline stencils for letter formation for those undergoing occupational therapy and provided toys and playground repairs and updates for a local pre-school.
Improving handwriting
The Blue Mountains and Penrith Woodworking Club recently donated mini blackboards and timber shapes to the Gabrielle Centre for Children at Blaxland. These articles will be lent to families to help children practice their handwriting skills learnt during therapy at the centre. The presentation was made by the club's vice-president Ray Barrett, to Linda Collier, manager of the Gabrielle Centre, on March 28. |
