The club sometimes gets requests from other community groups including nursing homes and charities for production of various therapeutic activity items including games and everyday objects.
The Samaritan's Purse Project
The club is has been working on some items for a Samaritan's purse project for a number of years now. This has involved the use of recycled timber from a local school which then been resized, cut, drilled and shaped to make a range of small wooden cars and trains suitable for the placement in the small shoe box size containers for their Operation Christmas Child.
Our members have continued to produce toys despite COVID lockdowns, bushfires and other current problems.
